The Agile EDU Second European Dialogue Lab report summarises the key points from the online event held on 19 February 2025, where 25 stakeholders from different European countries reflected on the use of data for learning and on how project outputs can support more responsible, meaningful data practices across education systems. Building on insights from earlier country-level labs, participants examined common success factors and challenges in data use, and considered how emerging case studies, learning stories and an analytical framework can inform policy and practice at school, local and national levels.​

 

The report highlights how the lab format fosters a European learning community by creating a neutral, structured space for dialogue between policymakers, school leaders, teachers, and other actors concerned with educational data governance and equity. Discussions focused in particular on aligning Agile EDU outcomes with existing EU competence frameworks (such as DIGCOMPORG and DIGCOMPEDU), and on how collaboration between stakeholders can enhance data literacy, protect learners' rights, and guide the inclusive, ethical use of digital data in education.
